Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, from our house to yours!

We all have so much to be thankful for this time of year! I am more blessed than I ever have imagined or definitely deserve!

This year, I am especially thankful:

• that I have been saved by the blood of the Lamb
• that I am forgiven
• even though I am a retched sinner, Jesus still loves me anyway
• for my family
• for my grandparents
• for my sweet friends
• for my new friends at church
• for my job
• for my health and my family's health
• for my freedom
• for my home and working car
• that Bryan and I are getting closer to saving more money and eliminating our debt!
• for my blog friends
• most of all for my husband who loves me everyday and treats me like a princess!

Thank you Jesus for all of your blessings!

 I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing, Thanksgiving spent with friends and family!

This definitely made my morning!

This morning one of my sweet girls brought me this bag and said, "Mrs. Moss, my Mommy made these cinnamon rolls for you! They're hot and fresh!"

Well, after opening them up and seeing them, they were HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS that were definitely hot and fresh! SCORE! I couldn't wait and dove right into them. They were soooooooo yummy! Don't worry, I didn't eat them all by myself! ;) I shared some with my team and am saving some for the hubby! Now, if that doesn't make your morning, I don't know what does! :0)

Prayer Request

Hey guys!

I just wanted to post a prayer request that I would love ya'll to pray about! We found out this morning that Caleb's dad passed away during the night. Caleb is one of Bryan's best friend from college, and was also a groomsman in our wedding. His dad was diagnosed with cancer several months ago and was recently placed into hospice. Bryan received word that he wasn't doing very well last night, and had already planned on going down for the funeral whenever he needed to. Bryan told me all of this this morning. After I got to school, I got a text from him that said that Caleb's dad had passed away at 2:30 this morning.

Bryan will leave early tomorrow morning to go down for the visitation and funeral. Please pray for Bryan as he travels, pray for peace and healing for Caleb and his family, and pray for Bryan as he goes to comfort his best friend during this great loss. Thank you!

Happy Birthday Morgan!

This weekend we had the pleasure of driving down to Ft. Worth to celebrate our best friend Morgan's birthday! We had dinner at Joe T. Garcia's and had a great time! We ended up eating outside and at first I was a little hesitant because of the cold front that had come through, but it actually was a lot of fun! It was so pretty outside and they had these amazing heaters, so it was perfect!

Morgan had a ton of friends and family that came out to celebrate and then we went back to her house for game night! We played Catch Phrase and had a blast! We loved seeing Morgan and have missed her so much! We're so blessed to have her in our lives and love her more than we can say! She is an amazing woman of God! We love you Morgan!

Thank you Shutterfly!

I thought it was oddly familiar when I kept reading my friends post all about Shutterfly and their Christmas cards. I thought, "Well, maybe they're just trying to get ahead and get their Christmas cards finished early" or "maybe they just really like Shutterfly!" Haha..then I finally realized that this was why everyone suddenly went post crazy! ;) You've gotta love free Christmas cards!

This is one of my favorite cards that they have! Now, I just have to find the perfect picture! We're debating on having pictures done, but I'd also like to save money so we might just end up using a picture taken of us this weekend. It was a pretty cute one! I guess you'll just have to wait and see! ;)

Kyrbie's Baby Shower!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of helping to host my best friend's baby shower! I knew that one day this day would come and we've had so much fun getting to plan Kyrbie's shower! I got to host my first "girl" shower, so I went a little crazy over all the pink! ;)

We held Kyrbie's shower in Waco at the best place ever, a store called Spice. It's amazing! You must go if you're in the area! Here are pictures of the decorations. Sorry some of them are turned sideways! I couldn't fix them.

A blog dream come true!

So this past Friday, Bryan and I headed to Lorena for 2 things: #1 to watch Chandler's last home game, and #2 for me to host my best friend Kyrbie's baby shower on Saturday. It was going to be a fast trip because my husband, FIL, and BIL all had tickets to the World Series game #4 on Sunday and were coming in from Shreveport, so we had to head back Saturday after the shower.

Now back to the point of this post! As we were driving, I of course was on my iPhone checking Facebook and boy am I glad I did! I got a notification that my friend Erin had posted on my wall. So, I looked on my wall and saw this message, "Hey girl! Are you possibly going to the Lorena game tonight? I think we're going and I was going to see if you'd be there to "meet."

What?! How cool was it that we hadn't been to a Lorena game all month and this was the night we were actually going to be there! I of course wrote her back, told her I'd love to, and we exchanged numbers! I was all excited and told my husband that I was FINALLY going to meet one of my blog friends. He didn't really get it, but was still happy for me!

Erin and I met at the football game and spent most of the 2nd half talking and catching up! It was so fun and felt like we'd known each other forever! We have so many crazy connections! We had a blast. I'm so glad that I finally got to meet one of my blog friends! God is so cool when He arranges things like that! Erin, it was so great to "meet" you and I can't wait to hang out again in the future!

My brother sent me a text tonight to check this out, so I did! It's a video that they did over fathers who coach their sons. They featured my brother Chandler and my dad on this last one! where do I start...

Before I started this post, I almost thought about not even writing it. I don't ever want to get on here and just be negative and gripe all of the time, but I realized...wait, this is MY blog and I can get on here and gripe about whatever the heck I feel like, whenever I want! I don't plan on doing it all of the time by any means, but tonight is one of those nights when I just need to vent and get it all out.

Let's begin with things that have dissapointed me, stressed me out, made me worry, or just plain pissed me off this week!

• people who make things more stressful for others
• being the last to know
• super long faculty meetings
• not being able to meet my bedtime
• kids not being quiet for one second and it gets so bad that I want to pull my hair out
• whoever has clogged the boys urinal continuously last week and this week
• whoever stuffed paper towels down the boys urinal
• whoever shoved Halloween pencils down the boys urinal
• students who do not listen to a WORD.I.SAY.
• students who ask me questions about the assignment that I JUST finished explaining
• students (not all of them, but most of them)
• parents who ask me the same questions over and over
• parents who want special treatment
• parents who don't expect their child to do the work, but the teacher instead
• parents trying to tell me how to do my job
• being treated like I don't know how to do my job
• not being able to go to yoga because I worked too long, or had to go to the grocery store..or..or..or..
• One Tree Hill not recording..or was there not a new episode this week?
• stressing out over money
• stressing out about when we're going to have kids

There have been a few silver linings this week that have kept me sane and happy and they are:

• knowing that I can't control what happens to me, only how I react to them
• having one of my room moms come up to school and do everything for me that I've wanted to do, but haven't had the time
• babysitting my favorite kids
• when my favorite 3 yr old  kept repeating, "DISGUSTING amigo!" when we were eating at Taco Bell
• that same 3 yr old calling me "Moss" and getting to read to him and tuck him into bed
• watching a 6 year old's flag football game
• sitting and talking with his amazing grandma at this game that is battling cancer
• talking with my friend and co-worker Kara and being able to vent with her about school
• talking with Kara and being relieved to know that my husband and I are not the only ones who have worried about finances and babies
• having my favorite 2nd grade boy from last year still come and talk to me every day about sports and what's going on in his life
• knowing that my husband loves me and cherishes me
• knowing that my husband thinks I'm sexy even when I don't
• Dr. Pepper
• seeing a picture of sweet baby Ben
• knowing that this week will not last forever
• tomorrow is Friday

catch up time!

Hello October! Boy, am I ever glad to see you! I thought you'd never get here with your cooler temperatures! However, I am so glad that you did and I am LOVING this beautiful day and the fact that I am sitting on my bed with the windows open, basking in the cool breeze floating through my window. Sheer bliss!


Well friends, I'm going to try and catch you up on the past few weeks that have demanded my time and stole me away from you all! Bear with me..this will probably be long!

As I mentioned before, I was busy getting ready for my friend and co-worker Kara's baby shower on September 23rd and I'm glad to announce that it was a success! You should have seen me trying to fit all of her balloons into my car on a VERY windy day! That was quite a sight! Everything turned out perfect and we had a great time!

After the baby shower, Bryan and I went and babysat our favorite kids that night and took them to our favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse! We definitely had fun eating out as a "family of 5" and handled everything rather well! The experience was good practice for the future and I know it will be even easier with only one! Haha..We went home after babysitting and packed because we were going to Lorena for the weekend.

Friday, Sept 24th was the big day! Bryan and I planned on going to see Baby Ben and the family at the hospital that afternoon after school and it was torture having to wait that long! Good thing I was crazy busy that day! Why, you ask? That's because we had our first field trip to the fire station next door to the school! We headed out that afternoon and had a blast. It was so hot, but the kids did really well!

 Benjamin Cooper Bradford arrived safely at 8:55 a.m and weighed 7 lbs, 13 oz! It was Bryan's first time to go to the hospital and see a newborn baby and he was a little bit nervous! I of course was not and grabbed Baby Ben and held him for the better part of an hour! There is nothing more amazing than holding a newborn baby in your arms! It was heaven!

  

We finally convinced Bryan to hold Ben and of course he did great! Oh and isn't this the cutest picture ever (sorry it's sideways..I can't figure out what the problem is!)?! He's going to be a great father one day!

Sadly, we had to give Ben back to his Mommy and get on the road to Lorena. Friday night was homecoming and Chandler was crowned Homecoming King! Yay Chandler! Lorena won and it was a great night!

quick update..

• It's been a crazy long week and I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday! :)
• Last weekend we drove down to Lorena to cheer the Lorena Leopards on to victory! :) It was a great game and we got to hang out with my Uncle Kinley and his family that came to the game also. My favorite memory was him yelling out, "Goggies up!" (It's a family joke and no you won't understand it!)
• Here's some great pictures that I took that night.

• I can't believe that my little brother is a senior this year! I'm choosing not to come to terms with the fact that we won't have anyone playing football anymore, and I won't be able to spend my Friday nights in Lorena watching my brother play!
• Moving on, while I was in Lorena, I got to hang out with an old high school friend, Jamie Damon now Montgomery! We began planning our best friend Kyrbie's baby shower that we're having in October! We spend the morning driving around Waco/Lorena/Hewitt looking at places to have her shower, looking at decorations, and making plans! We had lots of fun and can't wait for Kyrbie's shower! :) Mama and Baby Lexi are going to love it! ;)
• I've also been busy planning another shower for my teammate, Kara at school! We had to kick it into gear because we found out that her c-section was moved up a week..to next week! Baby Ben is going to be here faster then we planned, so we're having her shower the day before she goes to the hospital! We joke that it's a great idea because she can just take all of her gifts and say "See ya later!" Haha..It's fun though getting to plan both a pink and a blue baby shower! I'm definitely going to be a pro at this baby shower stuff! :)
• This week we've begun all of our testing at school..TPRI kicked my butt, DRA is kicking my butt, and I'm sure the math test will kick my butt tomorrow too!
• Speaking of butt kicking, I'm still going to yoga and loving it! :) I'm proud to say that I've now attended 11 sessions and I received my first band last night for 10 classes! Yay me!
• Tomorrow night we're gearing up to go watch Chandler in Kennedale, so at least that's a little closer to us! I can't wait!
• Did you notice that I updated my list and I'm now at 27 pregnant/baby people?! I'm just waiting to see who I get to add next! Haha..
• Well, that's all I have for now!

No, it's still not me! It's my sister-in-law, Whitney! Yay! Everett is going to be a big brother!

Whitney's due date is actually going to be around the same time of Everett's birthday, so she should be due sometime in May! For those of you who are new readers, my brother in law Jason, and his family, Whitney and Everett are stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. We're excited because their time in Germany is coming to a close, and they will be moving back to the states in January! My sweet nephew Everett is 16 months old, and we'll be so excited to get to see more of him and the new baby when they move back!

Yay for new babies in the family! Now, who wants to be # 24 on my list?! ;)
