Hello all!
I know, I know..I've turned into a horrible blogger/poster..SO SUE ME!! Anybody else teaching full time, in grad school, planning a wedding, and buying a house at the same time? I DIDN'T THINK SO! Geezzz..
Haha, just kidding! I feel horrible that I haven't been posting lately, but I just honestly can't find the time to do it. But I sure do keep reading..ask Bryan. :)
Well, I'm only on here again to get what I want from you, and that's paint recommendations/suggestions! Bryan and I are still set to close on April 15th, and sadly we are going to have to paint almost the whole inside of the house. You can imagine how excited Bryan is! Hehe..but I'm sorry. I can't deal with mustard, baby poop green, and light blue all over my house! :)
This is where ya'll come in. All you painters out there, what type do we buy? What's the best brand, any good deals, good tips to make sure we know. I'll take anything you can give! Haha..
Well, I love reading what's going on with everyone! Comment away with all your suggestions! Thanks!

The more expensive the paint the easier it is to put on. That is what my dad always told me and I did not believe him until we bought a can of expensive paint. You don't have to use as much and the application is so much smoother! Every time we have painted we used Pittsburgh paint. It is a bit more expensive but so worth it! Good luck!
Cheaper paint is crap. You gotta go big or go home. Try a middle-of-the-road paint for your first room and see how it does.
check out the "oops" table at home depot. they sell all the paint that didn't mix right for $5 a gallon, and sometimes they're really pretty colors. we always use behr, it works for us.
Not that I have done lots and lots of painting, but the husband of a past coworker of mine owned a company that painted houses. She once mentioned that Sherwin Williams is the place to go for good paint. Enjoy!
