on the road again!

Bryan and I are heading out to Baton Rouge for his friend John's wedding! Morgan, we wish you and Chris could have come :0( We'll remember you in spirit! It should be a fun road trip so I'm excited, plus you know that I love me a wedding ;0) This is my first wedding to attend this summer which is a surprise. Normally I have about 50 billion weddings to go to in the summer, but now it's nice to go to HIS weddings instead of mine! Ok, well Bryan's telling me to get off so I better go. Hope everybody has a great, relaxing weekend! Love ya'll!

haha

My boyfriend just pointed out that my past two posts have been about a boy/man named Johnny...I never even realized that!

And for the record Bryan, the e-mail already had the name Johnny in there, I didn't choose it. Also, rest assure I do not have any fixation with the name Johnny, and our sons will never be named Johnny!

School--1957 vs. 2008

Oh Johnny

Dear Johnny,

This really is very unnecessary for you to make your truck look like this. It doesn't make you look "cool" or "hot" or make people jealous of you. I'm sorry Johnny, but the only thing you look is silly!

An amused fellow road traveler,

Chelsey S.

Today is my favorite day of the month....PAYDAY! Enough said..now what to go spend my money on?! ;0)

darn it

I have no motivation whatsoever to blog. I have SEVERAL posts that I should be writing about, but can't make myself do it. I'm also in a whiny mood. Bryan left today and I don't feel well. Yes, I'm complaining. Loving someone is great, but it sure sucks when they have to go home and you don't get to see them everyday! I can't wait until his going home means coming home to me....

sweet words

were finally said last weekend...Friday night to be exact...3 little words..well actually I think 3 pretty BIG words..any guesses?

Yep, Bryan told me that He Loves Me! And of course I told him that I loved him back! I, of course knew that he's loved me for a while, or well at least a couple of months. He told me that he knew about the first month after we started dating. I'm sure many people will say there's no way that's possible, but as Bryan said, "when you meet the one, you know." :0)

I, on the other hand took a little while to admit it to myself. Bryan knew that I wasn't ready to say it yet or hear him say it..so he waited, which is one of the many reasons that I love him! He's been so wonderful and patient with me, again one of the reasons that I love him. It's incredible to see how perfectly he knows me and knows what I'm thinking and what I need. Well actually, it's exactly what I thought it would be..because that's how God has designed it to be!

I am so blessed to be loved by this man and I know that he adores me. He shows me every single day that we are together how much he loves me, by his words and deeds. I praise God daily for bringing Bryan into my life. I am so happy to finally say, without any hesitation, and total certainty, that I love Bryan Mitchell Moss!

it's about dang time!

I FINALLY, after over a week of no internet at my house, got it fixed today! Thank you ATT guy! After having several phone conversations with many different people, for many hours, and being unsuccessful, they finally sent someone out this morning. He came in and fixed my home phone line, which also hasn't been working for a while. After he did that, we went and looked at my laptop. He tested some things out with the line and then looked at my laptop. Long story short, it was some button that was clicked that I would have NEVER found and that nobody EVER told me about. So he basically unclicked it, and I was good to go.

However, that's not even the BEST thing about today. While the guy was here, he said that he noticed that I had wireless on my laptop, and asked if I wanted him to set it up. I knew that I had it on there because this laptop is my school's laptop and we have wireless at school, but I didn't have it on my plan and don't pay for it. I asked him if I had to add it to my plan or pay for it, and he said no. I told him, so basically I can get it for free? He said yeah, pretty much! So I said sign me up! So in a super short time, he set it up and I now officially have wireless at my home! This is so fun! This post was probably filled with useless information, but who cares! I now have FREE WIRELESS! Whoo hooo!

you know you should stop

thinking about your future engagement ring, when you are in the shower and are so distracted by thinking about the ring and what you want and what it's going to look like and what size it's going to be and..ok getting distracted again..FOCUS CHELSEY! that you SHAVE THE SAME LEG TWICE, and only realize that you have done this when you get out of the shower and completely dry yourself off...then you have to get back in the shower and shave the leg that you previously did not shave.

There's a funny for you today! Go ahead, laugh at me, I give you full permission! ;0)

this made me laugh

When I was cleaning out my classroom yesterday, I found this.
It's a behavior slip that the students get in specials when they get in trouble.

Want to know where it was? In one of my unused cubbies where I store supplies, stuck behind two boxes of Kleenex and one thing of baby wipes. Obviously my Justin had gotten a slip one day, didn't tell me about it, and hid it in the cubbies. I swear that child is smarter sometimes than I am. When I found the slip yesterday, I laughed my head off.

Man, I already miss that kid!

a special gift

One of my parents, Allison Deen, came into my classroom to give me an end of year gift on Monday.

*Just a little background on Allison, she is married to Eddie Deen, of Eddie Deen's catoring. Before you continue reading this post, you must go check out his website here and then read this and this! Their daughter Abby was in my class this year!

Ok, back to the gift! So Allison gives me a wrapped package and when I open it, this is what I found. Please note the authors.

Yes, that would be Laura and Jenna Bush. The PRESIDENT'S wife and daughter! I'd never read this book, but wanted to. I read it when Allison gave it to me, and it's SO good! All teachers should go and buy it! Inside the book was this label:

So sweet! And now for the most exiting part:
it's AUTOGRAPHED BY LAURA AND JENNA BUSH! Maybe I'm a weirdo because I got so excited, but I think that's pretty stinking cool! I have Mimi (Abby's grandmother) to thank for that because she was the one who stood in line and got the book autographed! Thanks Mimi!

It was such a special gift to me and I love it so much! I'm so blessed to have had such wonderful parents this year. Thank you Deen family!

I'm D-O-N-E!!

*insert Hallelujah chorus here* Ok, now I'm going home to sleep. The end. HELLO SUMMER!

FYI

For some reason my internet at home hasn't been working~stupid thing..so therefore, after I've left school each day this week, I haven't been able to check anything at home..or blog. So, if I don't comment or post anything anytime soon, that will be why. I'm gonna try and get it fixed soon!

Freedom!

I can almost taste it. In 1 hour I will be childless...wait, that sounds funny. STUDENT less...much better! Right now I only have 5, count them, 5 students left! And they're watching "Finding Nemo". Our day has constisted of reading their scrapbooks, a little bit of writing about our last day of school, pizza, and Nemo. We're fixing to go out to recess and then they are outta here! Life is good! *sigh*

he's so funny

My boyfriend informed me that he was so excited. I said why? He said, "because I got more comments on my post (the one about the swing) than you got on your Nick Lachey post!" What a weirdo! ;0)

he's amazing!

My wonderful boyfriend came in to see me this past weekend. I had school on Friday and he said that when I got home, I would have a surprise waiting for me. This was completely out of the blue, so I had NO idea what he was going to do! He made me call him when I was on my way home that afternoon. When I arrived home, this is what I found...

this note was outside on my garage door

as I walked in, this is what I saw..
and continued to see while also hearing Brad Paisley's "She's Everything" playing in the background(Bryan says that song always reminds him of me)
up until I got to the sliding doors that lead outside the backyard to my patio

I opened the door and found this!

It was my SWING!

To give you a little background info, I've been wanting a porch swing forever. I don't have any room in my front yard for one, because I don't have a big porch, so no porch swing for me :0( So, I just wanted to get a swing that I could put out in my backyard on my patio. I'd been planning on getting my swing, but because I was recently put on a budget(thank you Bryan ;0) and took another look at my finances, I decided that the swing would have to wait. Bryan has a porch swing at his family's house and we love hanging out and relaxing on the porch swing. It's kind of our "thing"! So, that was my big surprise when I got home on Friday afternoon! He had gone and gotten my swing, spent all day outside putting it together, and got a really bad sunburn in the process! Poor baby!

I don't know which I was more impressed with; the swing, or the fact that he wrote sweet little notes all over the house and laid them down with roses. HOW ROMANTIC! :0) I was so impressed with him. I always say that I USED to think I was romantic, but I sure don't think so anymore. Bryan beats me in that category!

Here's a picture of my beautiful roses!

and all the little notes! I'm not sure if you can click on the picture and enlarge it, so I'll just write out what each note says. Baby, I hope this is ok. If not, oops! :0

  1. Because God chose you before I ever knew you I will always be yours.

  2. Because you love God more than you will ever love me, I know we will always be on the right path.

  3. Because you are an amazing kisser, saying goodnight will always be amazing.

  4. Because you make me laugh, I know we will never be bored.

  5. Because you make me smile, I know we will always be happy.

  6. Because you're an awesome teacher, I might learn how to spell one day! LOL

  7. I hope that you're not getting the impression that I actually like you!

  8. Because you can cook, I know I will never go hungry.

  9. Because you are selfless, I know you will be a great Mom.

  10. Because you are what I prayed for, I will always thank God every day.

  11. Because you are more than I deserve, I will always put you first.

  12. Because all my best memories happened when we were swinging, OPEN THE DOOR!

I am such a blessed woman! Thank you God for giving me more than I ever thought possible and even more than I thought I deserved!
