Thanksgiving 2014!

This year for Thanksgiving we spent the holiday with the Snodgrass side of the family. We drove to Brady and Thanksgiving was held at my Aunt Christie & Uncle Dennis' house. It was great to see everyone and of course the food was delicious! We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year, especially our sweet baby boy on the way! :)

It's a...

We went to go find out if we were having a boy or a girl on October 9, 2014. I was thinking boy, but also wasn't going to be surprised if it was another girl. Bryan said he didn't care, but I knew he really wanted a boy! :)

When we went into our appointment, we told Abigail we were going to see if she was getting a brother or a sister. Up until then, if you asked her what she wanted, normally she would say a sister. It was funny because we were waiting in the waiting room and she was getting impatient with waiting. She suddenly said, "I want to go see my brother!" We were shocked because she'd never said anything like that before!

We were called back to the room and in no time at all, the technician said she knew what the baby was and she asked if I did. I told her I was pretty sure I knew what it was, and then she announced that it was a boy! We were all so excited...especially Bryan!

Brody Mitchell Moss, we can't wait to meet you sweet boy! :)

Halloween 2014!

This year Abigail decided to dress as Minnie Mouse for Halloween! We went trick or treating with the Jones family like we have for the past 4 + years. Abigail did so good and had lots of fun! She was so cute and we got some great pictures! I love my little Minnie Mouse! :)

Rachel & Marshall's Wedding!

Rachel & Marshall were married on September 6, 2014 in Shreveport, LA! Bryan and I were both in the wedding and we had a great weekend! We were definitely busy, but it was so good to spend time with the family making memories that weekend! Rachel was a beautiful bride and the wedding was wonderful! Welcome to the family Marshall!

Two Pink Lines!

We had been trying to get pregnant with our second child for about 8 months and had not been successful. It was disappointing, but we kept trusting in God that His timing was perfect and we would understand the reason of why we weren't getting pregnant when we were supposed to! :)

I woke up the morning of July 17th and took a pregnancy test. I had been waiting and was several days late, but had also had this happen in the past and I never got a positive pregnancy test. After going several months of testing and not getting anything positive, you just tell yourself to not get too excited and get your hopes up! I took the test in private, not telling Bryan anything. When those 2 minutes were finally up, I looked at the test and was shocked to see two pink lines! I was so excited! I immediately began thinking of how I was going to tell Bryan and pull off my surprise!

He had gone to teach summer school that day and waiting for him to get home was the hardest thing ever! When he finally arrived home, I had Abigail ready and waiting for him! What Bryan didn't know, was the over a year ago, I had already planned how I was going to tell him that we were pregnant with baby #2. I bought Abigail a shirt that said "Big Sister" on it and was going to have her wear the shirt to tell him. I can remember when I bought the shirt, they were out of the size that I needed. They only had a size 2T. It was completely a God thing, because I thought, oh well, it'll just be a little big on her and she'll grow into it! Well, turns out that 8 months later, it turned out to be the perfect size. I kept that shirt hidden for almost a year before I finally got to use it!

When Bryan came home, Abigail ran up to him and gave him a hug but he didn't notice anything. He immediately went into the kitchen and started making himself a sandwich! LOL! I grabbed her again and told Bryan to look at her shirt! He finally read it and was in shock! He kept saying, "Are you serious?!" He was so excited! :)

We all got dressed up and took pictures then went out to dinner to celebrate our exciting news! :) We praise God for our new miracle and thank Him for answering our prayers! We can't wait to meet you baby #2!

Rachel & Marshall's Wedding Shower!

Rachel & Marshall had a fish fry wedding shower that was held at Gram's house at the end of the summer! It was so fun and I loved this idea! The only hitch in our day was when Abigail decided to touch my hot hair straightener that I had left on and got a HUGE blister on her hand! I felt so horrible! We went to CVS and were able to get some numbing medicine to put on it and I think it helped a little bit. She definitely wanted to stay with Mommy most of the time, but she decided to get down and play with everyone else later on during the party! We are so happy for Rachel & Marshall and can't wait for their wedding! :)
