One year ago today....

I stepped into my wedding dress and had my father walk me down the isle to my future. One year ago today, I said "I do" to the man of my dreams and became his wife. One year ago today, I became Mrs. Bryan Moss and am so blessed to be able to spend the rest of my life with the man God made for me. One year ago today,was the happiest day of my life and each day spent with him is better than the last. Happy 1year anniversary baby!

So today I had a pretty productive day!

• Slept in until about 11
•  lounged around and watched episodes of CSI: Miami and Property Virgins
• got the mail
•  did 2 loads of laundry
• did the dishes
• cleaned the stove
• swept the floor
• made dinner
• checked Facebook and my e-mail multiple times today
• went on a 2 + mile walk with my hubby
• made reservations for our hotel and restaurant for our 1 year anniversary!

Now, I know that some of you might not think that my entire list was "productive" per say, but I don't care! I was satisfied with my day! :)

I'm very excited that I finally got our reservations set up! We're set to have our anniversary dinner at Truluck's in Dallas and we're staying at the Westin Park Central hotel in Dallas! I used Hotwire.com for the first time and got a great deal on our hotel. I'm anxious to see how everything works out! Yippee for a fancy night out and our one year anniversary! I can't wait!

Today is my husband Bryan's birthday! He chose to celebrate his birthday by.........working! Why am I not surprised?! He's a Moss and loves helping other people. That's why I love him so much! I truely don't know what I would do without him. He is so good to me and such a servant!

Tonight we're going to begin to celebrate his birthday with presents and then tomorrow we're going out for a nice lunch so all of his family can be there. More pictures to follow!

Cake anyone?

I can't believe it, but Bryan and I's first year anniversary is quickly approaching! I can't believe that we've almost been married for one year! It has flown by! J We haven't made any formal plans yet for our anniversary, but are thinking about getting dressed up and going out for a nice dinner and maybe staying in a hotel. Friends that live/are familiar with the DFW area, do you have any recommendations on a nice restaurant that you've heard great things about or have gone to?

Also, as you know tradition calls for us to taste our disgusting yummy, top tier of our wedding cake! As much as we are dreading looking forward to tasting our cake, I also had the idea of maybe ordering a small cake for us to eat (that we would actually enjoy). I know that it's popular now for couples to contact whoever made their original wedding cake and have them make a smaller version of their wedding cake for their anniversary. Well, I would do that except that the lady that made our cake lives about 6 hours away, so that's really not possible. Does anybody have any suggestions for where to get a cake made? I want a nicer place, so nobody recommend Wal-Mart! J

There's something in the water!

Yep, there's something in the water, because my other best friend Jacque is pregnant too! Whoo hoo!

It was really funny because she and Jason called us this morning while we were on our way to the gym (we're in Shreveport right now helping out his parents for the week). Today Jacque was scheduled to have her gall bladder out, so I told her to call us and let us know how her surgery went. I looked on Facebook this morning and saw she had posted that she was going in for her surgery, so I thought it was odd that she was calling us so early in the morning. She made Bryan put us on speaker phone and then she said that they ended up canceling her surgery because of "drama" and she said Jason would tell us about it. Jason then got on the phone and said, "Well they couldn't end up doing the surgery, because JACQUE'S PREGNANT!" Bryan and I just looked at each other and we were like NO WAY!!

We are so excited for our friends! I also just realized that BOTH of my matron's of honor (Kyrbie and Jacque) from my wedding are pregnant at the same time! How crazy is that?!

I'm sooooo excited! Our people are having a baby! :)

Watch out for that water though...there's something in it! ;)
