Hello fellow bloggers! Please forgive my absence as of lately! I wish I had some great excuse, but this December we've been blowing and going like normal!
The first week in December we celebrated our Life Group Christmas party at Wes and Amanda's house! Each couple brought an appetizer and a $20 gift. Bryan made stuffed jalapenos and they were a huge hit! Seriously, they were all gone in about 5 minutes! We ended up receiving a Starbucks gift card (yum!) and had a great time!
Sunday we drove down to Houston to be there for Miss Lexi White's birth and drove back that Monday!
Weekend 2, Bryan and I had a date night on Friday night, then had a busy day on Saturday! Saturday morning we drove to the Christmas tree farm and picked out our Christmas tree!
We took it home, decorated it, then headed over to our friend's Todd and Kara's, and spent Saturday night with them. They have 2 precious little boys, so I always get my baby fix while I'm there! ;)
Week 3 of December was busy with last minute Christmas shopping, Colby came to visit for a few days and he and Bryan had some good man time! We survived the last day of school and class parties, then went to Cheddar's on Friday night to celebrate with Jacque and Jason!
That Saturday night we had a steak night with the guys in our LG and the girls had a cookie exchange! We all had a blast! Sunday we went to church, and the rest of the day Bryan and I spent being lazy bums! We spent most of the day with Bryan watching t.v and me reading. Ahhhhhh! Sunday and Monday I finished wrapping all of the Christmas presents, then we mailed all of our Christmas cards and Christmas gifts to my family. That night we went over to Todd and Kara's house and had a blast hanging out with them again! Bryan and I came back that night and had our family Christmas!
Love the expression on his face! Someone's excited about JD!
Love this one too!
Yay for me! We had a great time this December, and even though it's been a whirlwind, we've been so blessed and made wonderful memories!
