5 days down- 277 more to go!

Well, I'm happy to say that I survived my first week of school, with no major catastrophes!

Some funnies that I heard this week were:

One of my little boys came up to me and was like, "Teacher, you are beautiful!" I said thank you, and then he continued for the rest of the day to come up to me and say, 'Teacher-you are still bee-utiful!" Haha..he's so cute.

Then, two of my girls were at my desk, and they were looking at my pens. I have a cool, purple, feathery, star pen that Bryan gave me. They were oohhing and ahhing over it and they were like "it's so pretty!" I said, " I know, my boyfriend gave it to me." Then they said, "Ohhhhh..you have a boyfriend?" And I said, "Yes, I do!" Then one of my little girls goes, " Ohh teacher, he treats you so nice!

Yes, why yes, he does! ;0)

I know that it's frustrating when they won't listen or stop talking, but I do love all the "firsts". I love the first time that they see the projector or my computer and ohhhh and ahhh over the things they've never seen. I still love how they get excited when they see me coloring or drawing for the first time and want to copy everything I do because I'm such a FABULOUS artist! :0) Oh yeah, I can stay in the lines! ;0)

It was a first week, but it was a good week!
