Before I start my post, I need to give you a bit of information you'll need before you continue reading!
After some long conversations, arguments, tears, and prayers, Bryan and I (mostly Bryan) decided that instead of moving to Texas and attending grad school this fall, he would stay in Louisiana and teach for one year, in order to save money for when we eventually get married. Bryan was offered a job teaching at a private school in Shreveport and he accepted. I had a very hard time coming to terms with his decision, (and know that it was equally as hard on him) but after much prayer about this situation, came much peace. He knows that this is what God wants him to do this year, and because I love him, I will support him and encourage him every step of the way.
Now to the point of this post, on Tuesday I drove down to Shreveport to help Bryan get his classroom ready. This year he will be teaching Physics and Chemistry to juniors and seniors. I do think it's funny that I teach K and he teaches 12th grade-complete opposites, but that's how we like 'em! ;0)
I helped do some odd jobs and we got his room arranged. Today is is first day and I can't wait to hear how it went! They have a half day where the parents come to school with the kids, so he'll get to meet everybody for a little while. They're feeding the teachers lunch, and then he'll be home after that. I know he was a little bit nervous about today, but he was prepared and I know that he's going to do great!
I can't wait to hear how his first day went!

I am sure this next year will just fly by!! We will be praying for you and Bryan!!!
Oh, chelsey!!! I will pray for you two!! I once heard "Distance makes the heart grow fonder!!"
it'll fly by, sweetheart :) trust me!
sooner rather than later, you'll be nagging him that his dirty socks don't go on the kitchen counter and his Sonic bag can go in the trash can...TRUST ME.
as far as Truett--I really don't know. I can give you all the contact information if you want--shoot me an email! I know they're picky about not having it rented out around certain school days. They had blocked it out for our weekend just because it was the week before finals, but thankfully opened it up because I'm an alum. I'm not sure how they'd work with summer weddings, with Seminary going on, and summer school too... email me if you want that info! :) I'll help you figure it out!!
I don't know if I'm aloud to ask this... but when are y'all planning on getting married/engaged.... if you've even thought about it?
