Well it's the first week, and so far I've been doing really good! For week one, I'm supposed to do a brisk 5 minute warmup walk, then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes. I've been doing that, plus adding my own 5 minutes of warm down walking. So basically, I've been doing 30 minutes of jogging/walking. It actually hasn't been that bad. I really enjoyed my run today! I was pretty proud of myself because I've just been running around my neighborhood, and today the temperature was 41 degrees with a wind chill of 33 degrees! Now, don't get me wrong, it was cold...but not unbearable. I will add that I was COMPLETELY bundled up. As in, two pair of socks, one pair of long johns under my workout pants and one long sleeved t-shirt under my fleece sweat shirt! I also wore a beanie and gloves! I definitely wasn't going to be freezing like Cass and Kel! ;0) Anyways, two days down, one more tomorrow or Saturday to go!
Yay me!

Good for you! Yeah, definitely don't do what we did! Insanity!
I started the couch to 5k program after Meg was born. It lasted all of 2 weeks. Maybe I'll get going on it again when I get back from the trip to my parents' house next week. Probably won't, but I want to.
Good for you!! I haven't worked out in like, 2 months. I really need to start again...
So is this couch to 5k thing an actual program that you are following? I thought it was just your clever name for working out! :o)
If there's a website or something, can you give it to me? It sounds like something I would like to do! It's sounds like it's meant for beginning runners, and that's exactly what I am!
Ok, so I googled it and found it!
I'm so glad you mentioned it! I had never heard of it before!
