A Successful Saturday

So today was actually a nice day for me! I slept in of course, and then decided to go and do some shopping! Whoo hoo! I was on my way into Mesquite when Kyrbie called me and told me that there was a JCPenney's was having a 75% storewide clearance sale so of course I got very excited! I still had that left over gift card to JCP that my students had given me for Christmas, so I was all ready to use it!

I ended up finding some cute shirts and a pair of khaki pants that I had been needing! Here is what I found! I think it was a pretty good deal if I do say so myself!

After I finished at JCP, I went to Big Lots, but didn't really find anything. I went back to Rockwall and treated myself to the Nail Salon! I got a full set of nails and then an eyebrow and lip wax. It was funny after the lady finished waxing my eyebrows she was just staring at me, and she said, "Oh..you pretty! Very pretty!" I just laughed and said thanks! Random, but it made me feel good! ;0) There was also this little girl, who was about 4 years old in there with her grandma. She had just gotten her nails painted, and the nail lady took her to let them dry under the light, and every 5 seconds the little girl would yell out, "ARE THEY DRY YET?!" Haha..everyone in the salon was laughing. Let me tell you she was QUITE the character!

Here's a picture of my beautiful new nails! :0)

After I finished at the salon, I came home, cooked dinner, did a load of laundry and watched My Girl 2. Man I love that movie! Good memories..

Well, I'm going to go get ready for bed, because I have a nice busy day tomorrow! Hope your Saturday was a good as mine!

How nice! You know, that waxing lady probably sees 50 faces a day (give or take a few). What a compliment! :)

Cute shirts/pants! I need to go shopping something fierce.
